Updated: Apr 16, 2021

Proverbs 25:28

"A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls."

Titus: 2:11-12

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age…”

Addictions are the most wicked spirits that destroy men and women in their secret place Yes! Addictions are evil spirits that torment people. When someone is addicted, the spirits will torment the person to SATISFY their own desire.

For example, when someone is addicted to pornography, in reality is those spirits that want to be satisfied with pornography,. Same for the excess of food, eating sand, consuming drugs, eating papers, mattress foam, and more.

Addiction Spirits are satisfied when people consume their needs.

What is an addiction?

Addiction is a term that means compulsive physiological need for and use of a habit-forming substance (like heroin or nicotine), characterized by tolerance and well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal.

The fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity.

Having an addiction: an exhibiting, compulsive, chronic, physiological or psychological need for a habit-forming substance, behavior, or activity.

The spirits of addictions use in general 4 ways to destroy someone.

1- OPPRESSION

Oppression is when a person or group of people who have power, use it in a way that is not fair, unjust or cruel on some specific people. It can also describe the feeling of people who are oppressed.

In other words, when the spirits of addictions use the way of oppression to torment and satisfy themselves they will make sure that the person is submitted to their authority.

The person will be a spiritual slave working for demons by consuming things that destroy health or doing unclean activities to satisfy the needs of those evil spirits.

2- DEPRESSION

Depression is a constant feeling of sadness and loss of interest, which stops you from doing your normal activities.

Different types of depression exist, with symptoms ranging from relatively minor to severe. Generally, depression does not result from a single event, but from a mix of events and factors.

When addiction spirits want to destroy someone through depression, they make sure that the person is constantly dissatisfied with themselves and the things around until the person builds and lives in their own world inspired by these demons, eats strange things or does unclean things in secret, which will ultimately destroy the person.

3- PRESSURE

The word pressure means to be in a state of stress or anxiety because you have too much to do.

Being forced to do something you don't like.

To be facing something in a stressful environment.

When addiction spirits want to destroy someone through pressure, they make sure that the person feels constantly busy in their mind. He or she will react like someone who has too much to do in a short period of time. The person's mind will be full of desires until it wants to accomplish all of its desires at the same time and in a short period of time.

Then the spirits of addiction will take advantage of the unclean desires inspired in that person's mind to destroy that man or woman as quickly as possible.

4- POSSESSION

A demonic possession involves the belief that a spirit, demon, or other entity can control a person's actions and life.

A demonic possession is the most wicked way the devil uses to destroy the lives of people, especially unbelievers. When someone is under a demonic possession, he or she is no longer in control of himself or herself. The addiction will be normal in that person's life. They live in a spiritual prison, doing the same activity every day: satisfying the need of the addiction spirits.

In the next part, we will see some examples of the activities of those spirits in the Bible and how we can be permanently be released.

Stay tuned, may God bless you!
